How do I perform Twain scanning with Adobe Acrobat Professional?

If you haven't already done so, you'll first need to install the Twain driver for your device. The Twain driver is available for free download.
With Adobe Acrobat Professional open, you can initiate a scan by using the Create PDF choice. This can be done either by selecting File , Create PDF or by simply clicking the Create PDF button located directly beneath the Menu list (File, Edit, View, etc).

The completed, scanned file will now appear in the folder you directed it to be saved into.
